“Patterns and Pixels” is a multi-media juried exhibit that was open to artists 21+ residing in the St. Louis metro area & 200-mile surrounding radius. For this exhibition, artists were asked to submit artworks in all media & styles that "explore the complexity of form and shapes that can be created by pattern, repetition and rhythm—from Mother Nature to the Computer Age."
Serving as jurors for “Patterns and Pixels” were nationally exhibited artists Ken Anderson, Professor, Department of Art & Art History, University of Missouri-St. Louis, and Mark Douglas, Associate Professor of Art, Fontbonne University, St. Louis.

This exhibit was juried from the actual artworks with 112 artists submitting 195 artworks for the jurors’ consideration. From the 195 entries, Anderson and Douglas selected 46 works by 42 Missouri & Illinois artists for the exhibition.
Works in a vast array of media are featured in this show, including beadwork, book arts, digital media, digital photography, drawing, mixed media, painting, paper mosaic, photography, printmaking, and textiles.
