Minding the Gap

This multi-media exhibit features 68 artworks in a variety of media that examine neglected negative space, empty spaces or the missing subject.
Juried by artists Brad Loudenback, Associate Professor, Webster University, St. Louis, MO, and Bill Yonker, Director of Exhibitions, Messing Gallery of Contemporary Art, MICDS, St. Louis, MO.

This exhibition was juried on June 29, 2009 from the actual artworks. Eighty-four St. Louis regional artists submitted 142 artworks for the jurors' consideration. From those entries, Mr. Loudenback and Mr. Yonker selected 68 works by 52 artists.

GALLERY & OFFICE HOURS
The Art Saint Louis office is open weekdays July 1-17, 2009, but the gallery is closed through 6 p.m. July 18 while we prepare for and install this new exhibit. Regular Gallery hours resume July 20, 2009.
Art Saint Louis is FREE and open to the public. Regular Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10AM-5PM and Saturday 10AM-4PM. Closed Sundays, holidays and between exhibits.
PARKING & TRANSIT
Art Saint Louis is easily accessible by MetroLink. The Convention Center Station is located at 6th Street & Washington Avenue and is mere steps away from our front door.
