Highlights from the 2007 event

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday, March 25, 2007 for our signature fund raiser, GRAPE ARTS XV. This fifteenth annual art auction & wine tasting was once again a "not-to-miss" event.

Held at Windows Off Washington in downtown St. Louis, Grape Arts XV was a very full & fulfilling afternoon of art & wine, with four silent auctions and one mini-live auction where guests were able to bid on hundreds of original artworks, unique items and gift certificates.

Art Saint Louis was proud to honor Patricia A. Mathews, who served as Grape Arts XV's Honorary Chairperson. A deeply committed supporter of Art Saint Louis, Pat served on the Board of Directors and was Board President. She currently serves on the Board’s Advisory Council.

In addition to the silent auctions, there were two types of wine tastings presented throughout the afternoon: from 2-4 p.m. sixteen wineries & wine merchants poured for guests during our Informal Tastings; then, from 4-5:30 p.m., guests were seated and treated for Formal pourings presented by vintners, wine merchants, restaurateurs, and collectors. Guests were treated to wines from local regions, national vineyards as well as international wineries.

During the Formal tastings, a Mini Live Auction was held, led by Mr. Mark Howald of Ivey-Selkirk Auctioneers & Appraisers.

In addition to all the beautiful art, delicious wine and food & great company, guests were entertained throughout the afternoon with live music Michael Lowenstein, Augustino Patti & Darin Johnson of Silk Pajamas.
